applicable to only ferrous materials. Inspection of steel butt
weld is very popular using this method. Other applications includes bolts
thread inspection and also Propeller Shaft, and
aerospace parts inspection.
It is relatively easy and low in demands. The equipment is
used for inspection of just direct and close inaccessible areas,
